Wednesday Feb 21, 2024: Early Arrival (optional) with Holland & Aynsley - Please reach out to them to join so we can fly down as a group!
Thursday Feb 22, 2024: Matt and Holland Big Splash Adventure! Snorkel and scuba diving! Optional to join. Please reach out to them if interested!
Thursday Feb 22, 2024: Sunset Welcome Night Drinks @ 6pm
Friday Feb 23, 2024: Softball Tournament Day 1 @10am beginning of Round Robin Tournament followed by Battle vs. The Locals
Saturday Feb 24, 2024: Softball Tournament Day 2 @10am completion of Round Robin Tournament, start of Double Elimination Tournament followed by Battle vs. The Locals
Sunday Feb 25, 2024: Softball Tournament Day 3 @10am Double Elimination Tournament & Championship

Players will need to cover their airfare, hotel, local transportation, dinners and drinks and other items
Cost:
$99/pp (please note this does NOT include airfare, hotel, food, etc..)
This cost covers welcome night drinks, balls, team t-shirts, drinks during the day, snacks, coolers, ice, first aid kit, field fee, umpire fees, trophy, etc…
Players will need to cover their airfare, hotel, dinners and drinks at night and other items.
Details:
There is only room for 60 players! First come first served!
Players arrive no later than Thursday night, 22 Feb, for Sunset Welcome drinks @6pm
Tournament is 4 team (15 players per team) round robin double elimination
Minimum 5 games
WSL will also have the option of playing against local softball teams in the evenings after our tournament games!
Getting to Cozumel:
You MUST have a valid passport to enter Mexico.
US passport holders do not need a visa to enter the country.
Two flight options:
Option 1: Fly to Cozumel International Airport. Flights from NYC require a transfer in Atlanta or Miami.
Option 2: Fly to Cancun and take a 45 min bus/car to Playa del Carmen and a 45 min ferry to Cozumel.
Transportation in Playa or Cozumel:
Taxi rides around the town of San Miguel cost about 100 pesos per ride ($5).
There is also bicycle rental options (similar to CitiBike) that cost $12 for 3 days of unlimited rides.
There are NO ride hailing app services on Cozumel (ie Uber, Lyft, etc…)
Airlines to Mexico:
JetBlue, American Airlines and Delta all fly to Cancun or Cozumel out of NYC. Aeromexico, Frontier, and other airlines may have additional routes to Cancun.
Where to Stay:
The town of San Migual on Cozumel has ample available hotel and AirBnB options for all price ranges from approx. $50/night on up. There are also a few hostels in town.

Safety:
Cozumel is very safe and street crime against foreigners is very rare. Drugs are strongly discouraged as they only raise the prospect of safety issues.

Early Arrival Activities (optional):
If you arrive prior to Thursday 22 February, you can join one of the following activities on Thursday. (No need to book at the time of event registration. All will require separate costs. Separate registration to follow.)
Matt and Holland’s Big Splash Adventure!\
Spend a half day cruising the Caribbean in a chartered boat doing one of the following activities:
Learn to scuba dive by taking a Discover Diving course! (No certification necessary.)
Jump in and snorkel among the world’s second largest reef system!
Join in on a couple of fun dives if you are already certified!
(Prices will be set on a group basis. The more who join, the cheaper it will be!)
(This is not a party boat excursion! You must sign up as either a diver or snorkeler.)
Day at a Beach Club!
Spend the day at a leisurely pace lounging, swimming, drinking, and you know, doing what you do best!

Rent a jeep and explore the island? Ride ATVs in the jungle? Snorkel in a sea of starfish? Deep sea fishing? Ziplining? Tequila tasting? Shopping for the perfect sombrero? Just say fuck it, go get some Mexican tattoos! Cozumel is your oyster and you are a tiny three-pronged fork!
